The team is very practical with strong experience in creating standout projects that make a difference in the community.
Role Overview: They are seeking a seasoned Senior Contract Administrator / Project Manager to lead a current social housing project in Brunswick, which is at the fit-out stage and set to complete by December 2024. Additionally, you will oversee a new project (Groundworks commencing) in October 2024, which involves basement dig with the structure being < 5 levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage high-impact projects for the company whilst keeping a close knit team and company culture. (not too big to be a number – not too small for an inconsistent pipeline - A great balance!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage the fit-out stage of our current social housing project then move to the next project around the corner, manage the new project from inception to completion.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts effectively using JobPac software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the current site contract administrator, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on project progress, including financials, timelines, and any potential risks or issues.
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior contract administration or project management role within the construction industry.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with JobPac software is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract management, and project execution.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
