New level crossing removal projects earmarked include:
An additional $6.6 billion investment will see a further 25 level crossings be removed by 2025, this provides significant construction projects including:

From 02-13 January 2019 Gippsland line coaches are replacing trains between Southern Cross and Bairnsdale stations coaches will be replacing trains for the entire journey from the first service on Wednesday 2 January to the last service on Sunday 13 January due to – Level Crossing Removal
