Position Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Operation Manager in the thriving Zero Silica stone industry! We are looking for a seasoned professional who is ƒexperienced in warehouse management  If you have a passion for leading diverse teams and optimising operational processes, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of warehouse functions, including the receiving, storage, and distribution of stone products, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Team Development: Inspire and lead a dedicated team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to foster a culture of safety and high performance.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock audits and implement best practices to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimise waste.
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse existing processes and introduce innovative improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction.
  • Safety Stewardship: Uphold and promote health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all warehouse activities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare insightful reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational challenges for senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record in team management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Not essential: Proficiency in Cantonese and English would be great but not essential. Management are the best within Melbournes industry. 

Skills & Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of the stone industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Competence in data analysis and reporting, coupled with valid licenses for operating various warehouse equipment.
