As they continue to grow and take on new challenges, they are looking for a skilled Sales Estimator to join their dynamic team and contribute to construction success.
About the Role:
As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the initial stages of construction projects, providing accurate cost estimations and proposals that will help secure new business and drive the company's growth. You will work closely with their sales, design, and construction teams to ensure that bids are competitive and align with client expectations and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for medium density residential construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive sales proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate costs.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Participate in tender processes, including document preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the business remains competitive in the industry.

About You:
- Proven experience as a Sales Estimator, ideally within the residential construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and costs associated with medium density projects.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- High level of proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
